Choosing the right home
Personal Care:
Aspen Lodge Care Home is managed by a registered home manager experienced in the care of elderly people with experienced care assistants providing 24-hour professional support. The care is carried out in accordance with each individual’s care plan, which is regularly monitored and updated.
We can also arrange occupational and speech therapy, chiropody and physiotherapy as well as appointments with dentists and opticians.
Choosing the right home:
Being able to offer residential and dementia care, Aspen Lodge Care Home is able to meet your changing needs as they arise, to ensure your long-term peace of mind.
Making the right choice is essential when selecting a home and there are many factors to consider. But at the end of the day, what’s important is for you to feel “at home” in comfortable surroundings and to be confident in the professionally structured care.
Often we feel most at home with our personal belongings around us, so at Aspen Lodge Care Home we invite you to bring small items of furniture, ornaments, pictures, photographs and special mementos to make it your home.
You will have your own spacious suite with en-suite facilities attractively decorated and furnished to very high standard. All rooms have telephone point, thermostatic radiators, smoke detectors and 24-hours nurse call system. We will do everything possible to make sure you feel at home and happy.
On arrival Aspen Lodge Care Home will introduce you to our team of staff and there will be someone to assist you whilst you settle in. You will also be

Aspen Lodge - a real community
Our aim is that you will be able to do just everything you enjoyed at home and if you would like to a little more.
Many of our residents find they can rekindle old hobbies and interests with the help of our Activity Co-Ordinator.
An activity Co-Ordinator gives everyone a chance to make suggestions on everything from menus to entertainment and outgoing. We take the residents
to Mayfield Park to enjoy and have a cup of tea or coffee at the restaurant.
We also arrange services at Aspen Lodge with our local chaplain, for all denominations.

The homely feel at Aspen Lodge is nurtured by our staff. Our team has been carefully selected not only for their professional ability, but also because of their dedication and commitment to make a difference by helping everyone in the home to have a happy and fulfilling life.
